Ways to Help

Penny A Target:

For shotgun shooting facilities, ask them to raise their rates by $.01 per target and send SST a donation equal to $.01 times the number of targets thrown quarterly. The facility can specify a school to get the funds with each payment and SST will match their donation to that school. If a range just throws three million targets a year that"s $30,000 from the range and SST matches $30,000 so the team gets $60,000 each year. Dollar of Dues: Ask your local gun club to increase dues by $1 per year and send the donation to SST for your Schools shooting program. SST will match all donations from the club.

Community Fund raiser:

Get your school to conduct at least one fund raiser each year with 100% of the proceeds coming back to SST. SST will match every dollar the team raises. SST will assist with firearms and promotional items from our partners if requested to do so by the team.

Contact Local Foundations:

Write a grant request for your schools shooting team to local Foundations and if you contact SST prior to submitting it we will consider offering to match whatever the other Foundation grants.

Community based Conservation Groups:

Ask your local conservation group committee to allow you to offer an item at their auction to benefit your school shooting team and SST will match whatever they raise.

Be creative, try anything to get your school"s shooting program started and SST will help build your permanent financial funding base.
